Amazon signs partnership with fintech using crypts

Partnership will allow customers to purchase at Amazon of Paraguay with credit and debit card of the company. Partnership had already been made in Chile in 2020.

The e-commerce giant Amazon has closed a partnership with the company dLocal in Paraguay, client of Ripple. With presence in several countries, dLocal grows in adoption in Latin America.

In fact, by 2020, Amazon and dLocal had already signed a similar partnership in Chile. Amazon’s customers started buying with their dLocal cards, being able to split their invoices three times without interest.

dLocal is a client of Ripple, a U.S.-based fintech company responsible for Cryptomoeda XRP. In addition, Bitcoin Evolution Scam also has an application called RippleNet, which processes instant payments around the world. In Brazil, for example, Banco Rendimento makes use of this technology today.

In a note, dLocal stated that it starts 2021 with full speed. The information was shared with the public on Tuesday (5), by the company’s Twitter.

Amazon is one of the largest companies in the world today and has grown in Latin America. With the novelty, dLocal gains prominence in the region, using even an application linked to the XRP token.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that dLocal’s partnership with Ripple is related to the company’s cryptomeda. This is because RippleNet uses cryptomoeda XRP to process international payments.

In other words, Ripple’s recent problems with the U.S. CVM, the SEC, could affect RippleNet customers. There is a judgment scheduled for February 2021 on the case, which could set the course for the XRP currency and its adoption around the world.
